I'm not sure about this. I think by nature we Indians are wayyyy to polite. Too polite and sometimes way to humble for our own good. We never take credit for anything we did. I can bet that the number of Thank you's and Sorry's we say far outnumber those of any other race.
But are we now being considered more rude because we are learning to say no? or the so called western influences are growing so much that the next generation of Indians are being brought up differently by a set of parents who are struggling to find their own cultural balance?
